Job Description
The Senior Workday Developer at Samsara is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining complex integrations within the Workday ecosystem, focusing on Payroll and Benefits systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and enhance HR operations efficiency.
Responsibilities
- •Design, develop, implement, and maintain complex integrations within the Workday ecosystem.
- •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and system connectivity across Payroll and Benefits.
- •Own and maintain all US Workday Payroll Integrations.
- •Own and maintain all Samsara Benefit Integrations.
- •Own and maintain all IT integrations.
- •Help resolve integration issues requiring in-depth expertise in Workday.
- •Gather integration requirements and create technical specifications.
- •Develop and maintain inbound and outbound integrations using Workday Studio and other tools.
- •Design and implement data transformation and mapping processes.
- •Conduct testing and debugging of integrations to ensure data integrity.
- •Create and maintain documentation for integrations.
- •Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards.
- •Proactively monitor integrations and troubleshoot operational issues.
- •Collaborate with external vendors to facilitate integrations.
- •Stay updated with industry best practices and suggest improvements.
Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- •4 years as an Integrations Developer within Workday HRIS.
- •Strong proficiency in Workday integration technologies, including Workday Studio, EIBs, and custom report transformations, Workday security, BP administration, alert notification, advanced report writing, and calculated fields.
- •In-depth knowledge of Workday APIs and Web Services.
- •Demonstrated integration experience in Human Resources related domains, HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, etc.
- •Develop and maintain inbound and outbound integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, and other Workday integration tools.
- •Ensure that all integrations comply with data security, privacy, and compliance standards, including GDPR and other relevant regulations.
