Job Description
The Project Finance Senior Analyst supports financial modeling, analysis, and strategic decision-making for geothermal projects, working closely with senior management to evaluate investment opportunities, structure deals, and facilitate project financing in a renewable energy company.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform financial analyses to evaluate the economic viability of geothermal projects and guide investment decisions.
- Support the structuring, negotiation, and execution of project finance transactions, including debt and equity financings.
- Conduct valuation, capital allocation, and deal structure analysis for individual projects and the portfolio.
Requirements
- Support the Head of Finance in financial modeling and analysis focusing on the economic viability of geothermal projects.
- Perform financial analyses including valuation, capital allocation, financing, and deal structure to guide key investment decisions on individual geothermal projects and across the portfolio within the first six months.
- Become intimately familiar with potential capital permutations, structure sensitivities, and value levers related to geothermal project finance.
- Work closely with cross-functional experts in land acquisition, development, exploration, and other groups to support project finance activities.
- Work directly with the Head of Finance and senior management in the structuring, negotiation, and execution of project finance transactions, including debt and equity financings for infrastructure projects.
