Job Description
A Drilling Engineer or Senior Drilling Engineer responsible for designing, planning, and executing geothermal drilling campaigns, overseeing technical, operational, and business aspects to develop geothermal resources safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and execute drilling campaigns for geothermal wells
- Own the technical, business, and operational aspects of drilling projects
- Monitor drilling operations in the field
- Identify ways to drill safely and more efficiently in frontier geothermal systems
Requirements
- Experience in leading the design, planning, and operational execution of drilling campaigns for geothermal wells, including temperature gradient wells, production wells, and injection wells.
- Ability to own the technical, business, and operational aspects of drilling projects.
- Proven experience in monitoring drilling programs in-field and identifying ways to drill safely and more rapidly in frontier geothermal systems.
- Demonstrated capability to scope completion parameters for geothermal drilling projects.
- Full-time employment status with a salaried compensation structure.
- Location requirement to work in Salt Lake City, UT.
