Job Description

A sales role focused on bringing IoT solutions to mid-sized customers across various industries, involving prospecting, building relationships, and closing complex deals to help improve operational safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own customer engagements from prospecting to closing deals
  • Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and qualify potential customers
  • Build and maintain genuine relationships with customers to foster trust
  • Learn and understand the businesses and industries of target customers
  • Engage with multiple stakeholders, including executives and CXOs, during sales processes
  • Develop and deliver proof of concepts (POCs) to demonstrate product value
  • Negotiate multi-faceted pricing and deal terms
  • Collaborate with team members and embody company cultural principles
  • Focus on customer success and building long-term relationships

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a closing sales role
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales focused on new school, government, and/or public sector accounts
  • Proven track record of consistent quota achievement
  • Experience selling in the public sector mid-market space with medium to large deal sizes
  • Experience with high-volume cold calling
  • Demonstrated growth mindset and willingness to be collaborative with teammates and in the selling process
  • Familiarity with SFDC (Salesforce.com)
  • Ability to build genuine relationships with customers and develop trust over time
  • Willingness to learn about businesses with little prior knowledge and adapt to complex sales environments
  • Ability to own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to close
  • Strong communication skills to engage with multiple stakeholders, including executives and CXOs
  • Ability to work remotely within the US and meet geographic or operational location requirements if applicable
  • Legal right to work in the United States and maintain employment eligibility
