Job Description
A detail-oriented Staff Accountant responsible for accurately recording revenue, COGS, and customer payments, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support accurate recording of revenue, COGS, and customer payments in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
- Assist in the timely preparation of accurate financial information for internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure transactions are properly documented and recorded using large data sets and Excel proficiency
Requirements
- Proficient in Excel with the ability to work with large data sets.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Experience supporting the accurate recording of revenue, cost of goods sold (COGS), and customer payments in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Highly analytical and organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to assist in the timely preparation of accurate financial information for internal and external stakeholders.
- Authorized to work from a home location within the United States or Canada, with no sponsorship for visas or transfers at this time.
