Job Description
A Project Engineer at Voltus supports demand response programs by managing technical projects, engaging with customers, and developing innovative processes to maximize participation and reliability in the marketplace, primarily working remotely with some field travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Support demand response projects by advising on load curtailment strategies and enabling facilities with proprietary hardware
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously through effective project management
- Engage in technical conversations with customers to support project implementation
- Design and develop scalable, innovative processes to meet growth metrics
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and utilities
- Identify and implement creative solutions to facilitate facilities' participation in demand response programs
Requirements
- Must have the ability to have technical conversations with customers and support multiple projects in parallel.
- Must be comfortable working remotely with the potential for field work based on location, with 10-15% travel.
- Must have experience supporting demand response programs by advising on load curtailment strategies and enabling facilities with proprietary hardware.
- Must have relentless attention to detail.
- Must be a master project manager.
- Must be intellectually curious and able to think outside of the box to design creative solutions for facilities to participate in the marketplace.
- Must be authorized to work from their home location in the US or Canada; no visa sponsorship or transfers are provided.
- Must be able to work primarily from their home country, with travel to other countries requiring approval as per the Global Remote Travel Policy.
