Job Description
An internship position focused on gaining knowledge and skills in energy markets and demand side management, helping customers profit from their involvement in energy markets while developing operational and analytical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the energy markets team in analyzing and understanding energy market dynamics
- Support the development and execution of demand response programs for commercial and industrial customers
- Contribute to process improvement, operational, and analytical tasks related to energy market participation
- Help grow knowledge of the energy industry and demand side management
Requirements
- Authorized to work from their home location in the US or Canada, unless otherwise indicated on the role description.
- Ability to work remotely in an all-remote workplace with compliance to the company's limitations on where employees are able to work for regulatory and security reasons.
- Willingness to work full-time or part-time as the internship can be either, with the understanding that the candidate will be supported to grow their knowledge of the energy industry and improve process improvement, operational, and analytical skillsets.
- Demonstrates a genuine passion for delivering a cleaner energy future and working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Intellectually curious with a desire to learn about energy markets and demand side management.
- Bright, gritty, and good, with a strong desire to learn and develop skills related to energy markets and demand response programs.
