Job Description
The Director for Business Account Development, West, is responsible for driving sales growth, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the EPC partner network in the residential solar and renewable energy sector across the Western US, leading a team of Relationship Managers and collaborating with internal teams to deliver solar solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and develop strategic partnerships in the West region
- Manage and mentor Relationship Managers supporting EPCs
- Identify opportunities, build relationships, and execute objectives to expand the Palmetto Finance platform
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of solar solutions
- Conduct market research and stay informed on industry trends to identify growth opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 8-10 years of demonstrated experience in a sales and business development role, with experience in the residential solar or renewable energy sector preferred
- Deep understanding of the residential solar industry and its market dynamics
- Ability to ideate, develop and execute strategic plans, in close collaboration with internal and external partners and stakeholders
- Highly motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced customer-centric environment where priorities may change quickly
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Ability to travel in region up to 50% of the time
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check
