Job Description
A Product Manager responsible for developing and managing systems that enable customer participation in electricity markets, focusing on dispatch signals, offer submissions, and performance optimization within Voltus's DER platform. The role involves bridging customer needs, market complexity, and engineering to maximize financial returns and ensure market commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive product outcomes for customer participation in electricity markets
- Manage how dispatch signals are received and acted upon
- Oversee offer submission and optimization processes
- Ensure accurate performance calculation and settlement
- Act as the link between customer needs, market complexity, and engineering teams to maximize financial returns
Requirements
- Experience owning and driving product outcomes that determine how customers participate in electricity markets, including how dispatch signals are received and acted on, how offers are submitted and optimized, and how performance is calculated and settled.
- Ability to serve as the connective tissue between customer needs, energy market complexity, and engineering teams to build systems that maximize financial return and ensure commitments to markets, customers, and Voltans.
- Authorization to work from a home location in the US or Canada, with the ability to work primarily from the home country, and compliance with Voltus's remote work and travel policies.
- Workday must align with a US-based time zone.
