Job Description
The Energy Markets Intern at Voltus will assist in understanding and analyzing energy markets and demand side management, helping customers profit from their participation while developing skills in process improvement, operations, and analytics in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the energy markets team in analyzing market data and trends
- Support efforts to help customers profit from participation in energy markets
- Contribute to process improvement, operational, and analytical tasks related to energy market operations
- Learn about demand side management and energy market mechanisms
Requirements
- Authorization to work from their home location in the US or Canada, unless otherwise indicated on the role description.
- Ability to work remotely from their home country, with approval required for working while traveling to other countries as per the Global Remote Travel Policy.
- A genuine passion for delivering a cleaner energy future and working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn about energy markets and demand side management.
- Strong process improvement, operational, and analytical skillset development during the internship.
- Ability to work full-time or part-time, with flexibility in scheduling.
