Job Description
An internship position focused on gaining knowledge and experience in energy markets, demand side management, and operational analysis, working closely with teams responsible for helping customers profit from participation in PJM and AESO energy markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the energy markets teams in understanding and analyzing PJM and AESO energy markets.
- Support efforts to help customers profit from participation in energy markets.
- Contribute to process improvement, operational, and analytical tasks related to energy market activities.
- Learn about demand side management and energy purchasing strategies.
Requirements
- Ability to work remotely from their home location in the US or Canada, with authorization to work and without the need for visa sponsorship or transfers.
- Authorization to work from their home country in the US or Canada, unless otherwise indicated on the role description.
- Willingness to start the internship in January, with flexibility to work full-time or part-time according to schedule.
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn about the PJM and AESO energy markets and demand side management.
- Strong process improvement, operational, and analytical skills.
- Bright, gritty, and good with a genuine passion for delivering a cleaner energy future and working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
