Job Description
An internship position focused on gaining knowledge of energy markets (PJM and AESO) and demand side management, working with teams to help customers profit from their involvement in these markets while developing operational and analytical skills in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the energy markets team in understanding PJM and AESO energy markets and demand side management.
- Support efforts to help customers profit from participation in energy markets.
- Contribute to process improvement, operational, and analytical tasks related to energy market operations.
- Learn about energy industry practices and market mechanisms through hands-on experience.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work from their home location in the US or Canada, unless otherwise indicated on the role description.
- Ability to work remotely, primarily from their home country, with travel to other countries requiring approval as per the Global Remote Travel Policy.
- Interest in learning about the PJM and AESO energy markets and demand side management.
- Strong analytical and process improvement skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn about the energy industry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
