Job Description
The Sr. Test Engineer will be responsible for testing and ensuring the quality of innovative wireless control and IoT products for smart home solutions, supporting the development of cutting-edge technologies used by leading global brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for wireless control products and IoT solutions.
- Identify, document, and track software and hardware defects to ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and improve product performance.
Requirements
- Experience in testing wireless control products, including chips, software licenses, or turnkey products, with a focus on innovation and revolutionizing wireless control technologies.
- Ability to work as part of a team to develop and execute test plans for wireless control devices and solutions.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies for IoT solutions such as smart thermostats, sensors, voice-enabled remote controls, and cloud control solutions.
- Experience in testing low power Bluetooth silicon with energy harvesting capabilities.
- Familiarity with testing connected home devices and ensuring their interoperability with entertainment and smart home devices.
- Understanding of the requirements for testing products used in the home energy management, home security, and home entertainment control industries.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues in wireless control and IoT devices during testing phases.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure the quality and reliability of wireless control products.
- Experience with software testing, including validation of control software and firmware for wireless devices.
