Job Description
A Junior Mechatronics Engineer will join a small, skilled team to design, develop, and refine software and systems that support automated production and laboratory processes in a renewable energy startup, contributing to scaling innovative solar technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and refine software and systems for automated production and laboratory processes
- Develop software and data analysis methods to improve automated processes
- Collaborate with mechanical, chemical, and process engineers to solve complex technical challenges
- Contribute to scaling and enhancing technologies to improve efficiency and performance
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of a relevant degree or diploma in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Have the ability to help design, build, and refine software and systems that power automated production and laboratory processes.
- Be capable of developing software and data analysis methods for automated processes.
- Be able to collaborate effectively with engineers across mechanical, chemical, and process engineering disciplines.
- Report directly to the Head of Mechatronics and work as part of a small team of 2 members.
- Have the skills necessary to contribute to scaling and improving technologies related to solar cell manufacturing and automation.
- Be prepared to solve complex challenges related to automated systems and processes.
- Be committed to creating a more efficient working environment through software development and system refinement.
