Job Description
The Strategic Account Executive at Samsara is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing end-to-end sales processes, building executive relationships, and selling complex IoT solutions to enterprise clients in physical operations industries, with a focus on long-term customer success and market transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop executive-level relationships within strategic accounts
- Manage customer engagements from prospecting to closing
- Conduct research to identify and expand pipeline opportunities
- Learn and understand the operational businesses of clients to tailor solutions
- Build and maintain genuine relationships with customers to foster trust
- Demonstrate a solution-based sales process in complex sales campaigns
- Champion Samsara's cultural principles and focus on customer success
Requirements
- 7 years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role
- 3 years experience selling into physical operations
- Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement in complex accounts and 1M ARR transactions
- Experience handling and owning enterprise deal sizes and C-Level relationships
- Willing and comfortable with strategic outbound prospecting
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Experience working with line of business stakeholders such as Operations, Finance, or IT
