Job Description
This role involves deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting advanced ArcGIS systems across various environments, supporting enterprise GIS solutions for high-profile clients such as the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community, and collaborating with customers to optimize GIS workflows and architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and configure ArcGIS deployments across various environments
- Plan and execute content migration between different ArcGIS architectures
- Troubleshoot advanced ArcGIS deployments related to platform components
- Collaborate with customers and partners to design and certify GIS workflows
- Support and optimize enterprise ArcGIS systems through system administration and scripting
Requirements
- Eight (8) years of professional experience in a similar position supporting responsibilities such as deploying, configuring, troubleshooting, and migrating enterprise ArcGIS deployments or comparable IT systems.
- Experience designing, implementing, and/or administering enterprise ArcGIS or other comparable IT systems including desktop, server, and online environments.
- Broad system administration experience on Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Working knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, PowerShell, Javascript, or C.
- Familiarity with network concepts and topics such as domains, directories, DNS, HTTPS, firewalls, proxies, and load-balancing.
- Experience with at least one Relational Database Management System (RDBMS), including SQL query writing, such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
- U.S. citizenship and the willingness and ability to maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a STEM-related field.
