The role involves leading complex healthcare projects as a subject matter expert, providing technical expertise, developing innovative design solutions, mentoring team members, and collaborating with clients and project teams to deliver high-quality architectural and planning services.
Key Responsibilities
Lead large, complex, or multiple healthcare projects and serve as a subject matter expert.
Engage with team members, disciplines, and clients to ensure project success.
Develop innovative solutions and responses to evolving research needs.
Lead internal Subject Matter Expert Teams and participate in marketing pursuits.
Collaborate with project teams to provide technical expertise in programming and planning.
Lead user group meetings to gather and refine program needs and assess space utilization.
Communicate planning concepts effectively to clients, designers, and project teams.
Develop, modify, and review planning concepts and solutions.
Create architectural drawings and specifications for project documentation.
Develop project scope, plan, and services during contract negotiations.
Integrate sustainable design solutions into projects.
Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide guidance to team members.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree
Minimum of 12 years of related experience
Previous experience performing as a subject matter expert on projects ranging from large, complex, or multiple projects for the healthcare market
Knowledge of building codes and requirements
Must have advanced knowledge in the discipline
Must possess strong business acumen
Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to lead less experienced team members
Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam software
