Job Description
The role involves leading complex healthcare projects as a subject matter expert, providing technical expertise, developing innovative design solutions, mentoring team members, and collaborating with clients and project teams to deliver high-quality architectural and planning services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead large, complex, or multiple healthcare projects and serve as a subject matter expert.
- Engage with team members, disciplines, and clients to ensure project success.
- Develop innovative solutions and responses to evolving research needs.
- Lead internal Subject Matter Expert Teams and participate in marketing pursuits.
- Collaborate with project teams to provide technical expertise in programming and planning.
- Lead user group meetings to gather and refine program needs and assess space utilization.
- Communicate planning concepts effectively to clients, designers, and project teams.
- Develop, modify, and review planning concepts and solutions.
- Create architectural drawings and specifications for project documentation.
- Develop project scope, plan, and services during contract negotiations.
- Integrate sustainable design solutions into projects.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide guidance to team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree
- Minimum of 12 years of related experience
- Previous experience performing as a subject matter expert on projects ranging from large, complex, or multiple projects for the healthcare market
- Knowledge of building codes and requirements
- Must have advanced knowledge in the discipline
- Must possess strong business acumen
- Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to lead less experienced team members
- Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam software
