Job Description

The role involves developing and communicating compelling narratives for Samsara's platform capabilities, aligning cross-functional teams on messaging, supporting go-to-market strategies, and representing the company at major events to showcase its integrated hardware, software, data, and AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and evolve the platform story unifying Samsara's hardware, software, data, and AI capabilities into a cohesive value proposition.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to ensure consistent messaging across go-to-market plans, launches, and demos.
  • Create platform pitch decks, quarterly roadmap narratives, and executive-ready content supporting business priorities.
  • Support field teams with high-leverage assets such as solution briefs and enablement decks to drive adoption and pipeline.
  • Shape, test, and present content for major events, keynotes, and executive presentations.
  • Synthesize customer insights, competitive trends, and platform usage data into strategic positioning updates.

Requirements

  • 7 years of product marketing, portfolio marketing, or related experience in B2B SaaS platform organizations with narrative ownership responsibilities such as messaging frameworks, pitch architecture, and cross-portfolio storytelling.
  • Proven track record of driving go-to-market (GTM) narratives that align product roadmaps with market value and customer outcomes.
  • Proven ability to partner deeply with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Demand teams to influence strategy and build consensus.
  • Experience building content for senior audiences including C-suite, CIOs, and shaping narratives for large events or major launches.
  • Exceptional communication skills with strong reading, writing, storytelling, and executive presentation abilities.
  • Experience in strategic thinking, capable of thinking both strategically and tactically from high-level narrative architecture to detailed execution in decks and campaigns.
  • Experience and familiarity with leveraging large language models (LLMs) for content development.
  • Experience scaling narrative frameworks across multiple product lines or geographies is preferred.
  • Familiarity with platform ecosystems, APIs, developer audiences, or technical buyers is preferred.
  • Experience with analyst relations, ecosystem partners, and platform launch planning is preferred.

Annual base salary range of $128,520 to $229,500 USD
