Job Description
The role involves delivering training and support to customers to help them effectively utilize Samsara's connected operations platform, ensuring their success and operational goals across various industries through live and recorded sessions, with opportunities for travel and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Train customers on how to effectively use the Samsara platform through live and recorded sessions
- Develop and update training materials to support customer onboarding and ongoing education
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to shape training content and incorporate customer feedback
- Understand customer needs and tailor training programs to meet their operational goals
- Demonstrate expertise in the Samsara platform and address customer questions during training sessions
Requirements
- Ability to communicate sophisticated business software processes effectively and in a way that connects with customer priorities both in verbal delivery and in the materials produced.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, being dynamic and enthusiastic, and able to connect well with others regardless of their organizational level.
- Experience delivering training and making it dynamic at both virtual and live customer events.
- Ability to manage own work and teach oneself new products independently.
- Analytical skills to assess what is essential to know and what is not.
- Ability to prioritize and effectively handle multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
- Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented with an eye for detail and polish.
- Ability to work without supervision and as part of a team.
- 5-7 years of experience teaching or delivering training.
- Ability to travel 20-25% of the time.
- Reside in the United States excluding Alaska, Austin Metro, Boulder Metro, California, Chicago Metro, Connecticut, Dallas Metro, Denver Metro, Houston Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Seattle Metro, and Washington, D.C.
- Experience supporting Enterprise customers across multiple regions or markets (preferred but not explicitly mandatory).
