Job Description

A Senior Sales Operations Analyst at Samsara is responsible for optimizing sales systems, developing data-driven quota strategies, and automating workflows to support the company's global sales growth and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the ADR Business Partner in improving reporting structures and workflows in Salesforce
  • Automate workflows and enhance sales system processes by defining business requirements and leading user acceptance testing
  • Assess, prioritize, and manage requests and improvement opportunities to inform a long-term roadmap
  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot SQL queries and data pipelines across Databricks, Google Sheets, and Apps Script
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership and Sales Systems team to develop data-driven quota recommendations
  • Serve as the primary owner for resolving critical support issues related to sales systems
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions and optimize sales analytics infrastructure

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a Sales Analyst role or in a similar growth or analytics role within a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Strong proficiency in SQL
  • Proficiency in Google Apps Script
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and the broader sales technology ecosystem
  • Strong organizational skills and sound business judgment, with the ability to manage projects end-to-end
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and craft clear, compelling narratives using data
  • Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to understand sales processes, policies, and systems and communicate effectively across company, team, and sales-rep audiences
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from a top university
