Job Description
The Sales Director at Samsara will manage and develop a Select Enterprise Sales team, focusing on introducing transformative IoT technology to the market. This role involves coaching Account Executives, collaborating with the executive team on performance metrics, and ensuring customer success while leading a high-performing, inclusive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement effective coaching and development of Account Executives
- Collaborate with executive team to develop performance metrics
- Coordinate the involvement of Field Sales Engineers and support teams
- Champion and embed Samsara's cultural principles
- Hire, develop, lead and retain an inclusive, engaged, and high performing team
Requirements
- Previous experience supervising a sales team in the North East USA in a management capacity.
- Proven track record of ability to train, spearhead and motivate enterprise sales teams.
- Solid understanding of SFDC and accurate forecasting methodology.
- 8 years of technology sales experience.
- 5 years experience managing a team, sales supervision and/or high overachievement as an individual contributor in Enterprise SAAS sales.
- This position requires travel up to 50% of the time.
