Job Description

A sales role focused on bringing the Internet of Things solutions to mid-sized customers across various industries, involving building relationships, managing complex sales processes, and closing deals to help improve operational safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect new mid-sized customers through research and cold calling.
  • Manage and execute sales processes including POCs, trials, and negotiations.
  • Build and maintain genuine relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Learn and understand the businesses and industries of potential clients to tailor sales approaches.
  • Close new deals ranging from $20,000 to $100,000 in annual revenue.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role.
  • Experience independently closing new deals larger than 10,000 CAD in annual revenue.
  • Must be located in Canada.
  • Proven track record of consistent quota achievement.
  • Experience selling in the midmarket space with medium to large deal sizes.
  • Experience with high-volume cold calling.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to be collaborative with teammates and in the selling process.
  • Familiarity with SFDC (Salesforce).
