A sales role focused on bringing IoT solutions to mid-sized customers, involving building relationships, managing complex sales processes, and closing deals to help improve operational safety, efficiency, and sustainability across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
Build Samsara's business by selling IoT solutions to mid-sized customers.
Manage the sales process including POCs, trials, and multi-stakeholder negotiations.
Research and prospect new customers through cold calling and industry knowledge.
Develop and maintain genuine relationships with customers to build trust.
Learn about customers' businesses to tailor solutions and increase sales impact.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role.
Experience independently closing new deals larger than 10,000 USD in annual revenue.
Candidates must be located in either EST or CST time zones.
Proven track record of consistent quota achievement.
Experience selling in the midmarket space with medium to large deal sizes.
Experience with high-volume cold calling.
Must demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to be collaborative with teammates and in the selling process.
Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC).
