Job Description
The Enterprise Sales Operations Manager at Samsara is responsible for optimizing sales processes, systems, and policies to support the company's growth beyond $1 billion in revenue, by partnering with senior sales leaders and driving cross-functional initiatives to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with sales leadership to optimize sales processes, drive revenue, retention, and expansion.
- Lead cross-functional programs to improve sales outcomes through process redesign, tooling, and analytics.
- Assess and prioritize sales requests and process gaps, developing a roadmap aligned with sales goals.
- Develop and maintain operational metrics to identify inefficiencies and risks, providing actionable insights.
- Collaborate with Salesforce and RevOps teams to enhance automation, define requirements, and manage end-user communications.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Sales Operations roles supporting cross-functional sales organizations within a fast-paced, iterative, forward-thinking SaaS environment.
- Proven ability to drive improvements in Sales workflows through cross-functional project management and build long-term solutions.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Advanced proficiency in Salesforce.com and proficiency in sales tech stack tools.
- Strong organizational skills and business judgment with a track record of leading complex projects from strategy through execution.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to influence sales strategy and decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills and experience translating policy processes into field-facing resources and guidance.
- Bachelor’s degree from a top university with a focus in business, finance, economics, or engineering (MBA optional).
