Job Description

The Benefits Partner is responsible for managing and executing global benefits and leave of absence programs, ensuring compliance and providing employee support across multiple regions, while collaborating with internal teams to improve processes and maintain regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day execution and administration of global Leave of Absence (LOA) programs across all regions.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of leave cases, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant handling.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and subject-matter expert for LOA processes, policies, and employee support.
  • Ensure accurate leave tracking, documentation, and reporting across systems.
  • Support accommodations, interactive processes, and return-to-work planning.
  • Conduct LOA audits to ensure compliance, data integrity, and process consistency.
  • Support administration of benefits programs, including compliance activities and regulatory filings.
  • Assist with international benefits coordination and vendor management.
  • Support immigration and mobility processes related to global visas and work authorizations.
  • Act as a trusted resource for employees and managers on leave and benefits-related questions.
  • Ensure all programs are administered in compliance with applicable regulations and maintain audit-ready documentation.

Requirements

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in benefits and/or leave of absence administration.
  • Strong experience managing LOA programs, ideally across multiple regions or jurisdictions.
  • Deep working knowledge of U.S. leave and benefits regulations including FMLA, ADA, ERISA, and ACA.
  • Experience with compliance processes such as audits, Non-Discrimination Testing (NDT), or regulatory filings.
  • Exposure to or experience supporting international benefits programs.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, with Workday preferred.
  • Ability to support and administer global benefits programs and manage the full lifecycle of leave cases including medical, parental, personal, and statutory leaves.
  • Partnering with internal teams such as Payroll, Legal, People Partners, and People Operations to ensure seamless leave and benefits execution.
  • Supporting compliance activities including maintaining audit-ready documentation, SOPs, and process documentation.
  • Generating reports on leave activity, compliance metrics, and benefits operations.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience.
  • Ability to support international benefits programs and coordinate with regional vendors and stakeholders.
  • Supporting immigration and mobility processes in partnership with external counsel and internal teams, including tracking and coordination of global visa and work authorization cases.
  • Serving as a primary point of contact and subject-matter expert for LOA processes, policies, and employee support.
  • Supporting open enrollment activities, including system testing, audits, and employee communications.
  • Supporting administration of U.S. benefits programs such as health, welfare, retirement, and wellness benefits.
  • Ensuring all programs are administered in compliance with applicable U.S. and international regulations.
  • Maintaining audit-ready documentation, SOPs, and process documentation.
  • Residing in the United States excluding Alaska, Austin Metro, Boulder Metro, California, Chicago Metro, Connecticut, Dallas Metro, Denver Metro, Houston Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Seattle Metro, and Washington, D.C.
