Job Description
A project management role focused on driving finance transformation initiatives, including system implementations and process improvements across ERP, Salesforce, and finance operations, to support the company's growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive projects impacting ERP, Salesforce, and compensation systems, coordinating with internal and external teams to meet deadlines
- Implement and oversee new software tools, including requirements gathering, testing, reporting, and hyper care
- Collaborate with the business technology team to ensure system designs reflect business needs
- Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including script creation, testing, and issue resolution
- Work closely with Accounting, Business Operations, and US Finance teams to ensure customer-centric processes
- Develop reports in ERP and Salesforce to support team reporting requests
- Embed and promote Samsara's cultural principles within project execution and team collaboration
Requirements
- 7 years of professional work experience with 4 years experience in a project management or operations role, with a history of leading initiatives
- Possess familiarity in finance processes and systems with analytical and problem-solving skills to drive project implementations
- Experience working on projects supporting Compensation teams and accounting finance systems
- Demonstrated understanding of established project management practices and tools
- A detail-oriented, high-energy, positive disposition and excellent communication skills
- Proven track record of sound judgment calls, taking ownership, and delivering results
- A demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects
- Fluent in written and verbal English
- Experience with Netsuite and Salesforce
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Focus on teamwork and collaboration
- Experience in implementing Vertex and/or TMS Treasury Management System (preferred but not mandatory)
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a project management or operations role, with a total of 7 years of professional work experience
- Experience supporting finance processes and systems, including accounting and compensation systems
- Knowledge of and experience with project management practices and tools such as PMP or Agile certification or formal project management training (preferred but not mandatory)
