The role involves leading Samsara's Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and field marketing strategies to drive enterprise account engagement, accelerate deal progression, and support revenue growth through high-touch executive programs and tailored marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Own and evolve Samsara's ABM strategy for top enterprise accounts
Lead biweekly account strategy sessions with Enterprise Sales
Develop tailored marketing strategies to accelerate deal progression and increase win rates
Align marketing investments with enterprise pipeline priorities and forecast visibility
Drive impact on new enterprise acquisition and expansion revenue
Plan and execute high-touch executive programs such as EBCs, VIP events, and strategic dinners
Define and implement a long-term ABM Field Marketing roadmap
Evolve team specialization and establish operational frameworks for scalable processes
Act as the primary marketing liaison to Enterprise Sales leadership
Evaluate ROI of ABM programs and executive events using pipeline metrics and sales insights
Build and lead an inclusive, high-performing team aligned with cultural principles
Requirements
Experience in leading strategic and high-visibility marketing functions, specifically as a Director of ABM Field Marketing or similar role, with a focus on enterprise accounts.
Ability to own and evolve Samsara's 1:1 ABM strategy for top enterprise accounts.
Proven experience in leading biweekly ABM account strategy sessions with Enterprise Sales teams.
Skill in developing tailored marketing strategies that accelerate deal progression and increase win rates.
Experience in aligning marketing investment to enterprise pipeline priorities and forecast visibility.
Track record of driving measurable impact on net-new enterprise acquisition and expansion revenue.
Experience in planning and executing high-touch executive programs, including EBCs, VIP hospitality events, strategic dinners, and exclusive field experiences.
Ability to ensure executive programs are strategically tied to deal advancement and account plans, not standalone events.
Experience in defining and implementing a clear long-term ABM Field Marketing roadmap.
Ability to evolve a marketing team from generalist execution to defined specialization across ABM and Field Marketing disciplines.
Skill in establishing prioritization frameworks, operational rigor, and scalable processes to drive program maturity, optimization, and performance improvement year-over-year.
Experience acting as the primary marketing liaison to Enterprise Sales leadership, bringing structure and clarity in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments.
Ability to build credibility with senior sales leaders and operate comfortably at the executive level.
Experience owning enterprise ABM and field marketing pipeline targets.
Ability to evaluate ROI of 1:1 programs and executive events using pipeline metrics, sales cycle insights, and forecasting data to inform investment decisions.
