Job Description
An Associate Product Manager at Samsara participates in a structured training program to gain hands-on experience managing IoT-based products, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and launching new features that enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability for industries powering the global economy.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a formal training program to develop core product management skills.
- Gather customer and stakeholder feedback through structured beta programs.
- Manage the end-to-end launch of new features, including enabling customers and internal teams.
- Collaborate with Design, Engineering, and Marketing to develop new features and manage a small product roadmap.
- Learn to run beta programs, launch features, and measure their success during roll-out.
Requirements
- A minimum of a 3.5 GPA.
- Experience building a product, a startup, an application, a nonprofit or equivalent as a founding member or co-founder.
- Currently in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or another technical discipline, with the degree to be completed by the time of joining Samsara, with a target timeline of Spring 2026.
- Prior evidence of strong intellectual curiosity and leadership skills.
- Gleaning insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
- Bias-for-action and willingness to get hands dirty to help the team and have an impact on customers.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and structured thinking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
