Job Description

A sales role focused on bringing IoT solutions to mid-sized customers across various industries, involving building relationships, managing trials, and closing complex deals to help improve operational safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect mid-sized customers through research and cold calling.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers by understanding their business needs.
  • Manage the sales process including conducting proof of concepts, managing trials, and negotiating pricing.
  • Close new deals ranging from $20,000 to $100,000 in annual revenue.
  • Engage with multiple stakeholders, including executives and CXOs, throughout the sales cycle.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role.
  • Experience independently closing new deals larger than 10,000 USD in annual revenue.
  • Must be located in one of the following states: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Maryland, or Delaware.
  • Proven track record of consistent quota achievement.
  • Experience selling in the midmarket space with medium to large deal sizes.
  • Experience with high-volume cold calling.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
  • Ability to learn about businesses with little prior knowledge and develop genuine relationships with customers.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and willingness to be collaborative with teammates and in the selling process.
  • Ability to build relationships with customers who have relied on pen-and-paper solutions and value earned trust and human relationships over time.
