Job Description
A Project Manager II at RES leads complex ecological restoration projects from planning to completion, managing multidisciplinary teams, budgets, and regulatory compliance to make a tangible environmental impact through sustainable restoration efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex ecological restoration projects from planning through construction close-out
- Develop project schedules, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage multidisciplinary teams, including contractors, consultants, and vendors
- Coordinate field activities such as site inspections and subcontractor oversight
- Review technical documents, prepare financial reports, and communicate with stakeholders
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in applied sciences, environmental engineering, construction management, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in engineering, construction, or environmental project work.
- 3 years of direct project management experience, including ownership of scope, schedule, and budget.
- Proficiency with project management tools, such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent.
- Experience managing subcontractors, consultants, and vendors.
- Ability to lead complex projects independently, with limited supervision.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
- Previous experience in solar vegetation management and/or civil infrastructure or civil construction.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation range: $74,500 - $90,000 USD
Work schedule: Travel up to 25-50% of the time, flexible project management from conception to completion
