Job Description

This role involves leading strategic sales efforts for enterprise storage and data solutions focused on AI and HPC markets, building customer relationships, and driving revenue growth through technical and business expertise in emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evangelize and demonstrate the value of Pure's all-flash enterprise storage and data solutions to customers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure high satisfaction and value realization.
  • Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources for customer acquisition.
  • Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities within assigned territories or accounts.
  • Engage with key decision-makers and influencers to build strong client relationships.
  • Collaborate with product teams to provide market feedback and influence product development.
  • Work with sales engineers, product specialists, and customer success teams to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Partner with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and participate in industry events.

Requirements

  • 10 years of enterprise sales experience, with at least 3 years of sales business development selling to AI and HPC related technologies or solutions, with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development
  • Clear experience selling business solutions to the C-Suite SVP VP levels of F1000 companies
  • Demonstrable track record of consistently meeting or exceeding multi-million-dollar sales quotas in a high-growth environment
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities within assigned territories or accounts
  • Strong understanding of AI and HPC technologies, machine learning workflows, and related infrastructure requirements
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and their AI ML services
  • Familiarity with data analytics, big data technologies, and data science workflows
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
