The Partner Account Manager role involves supporting and enabling reseller partners to ensure operational efficiency, manage sales processes, and drive revenue growth within a technology-focused company specializing in data storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day relationships with reseller partners to ensure operational efficiency and program compliance
Support deal registration processes, including review, approval, extension, and reassignment to maintain an accurate sales pipeline
Coordinate with internal Account Executives to facilitate seamless handoffs and clarity on partner-led opportunities
Guide partners in accessing training resources to enhance sales and technical competencies
Track and report on partner attainment of training and competency requirements
Serve as the primary contact for partner program inquiries, resolving operational issues and system-related roadblocks
Assist in executing channel marketing activities and driving partner engagement in localized events
Identify and document friction points in partner processes, contributing to operational improvements and best practices
Requirements
Experience providing high-quality support or relationship management in a fast-paced technology or B2B environment, specifically working with channel partners or resellers.
Demonstrated proficiency with core sales systems, including Salesforce SFDC and partner management portals, with a strong ability to manage data and maintain pipeline hygiene.
A high degree of accuracy and focus on detail, with proven ability to follow, analyze, and optimize established operational processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical and programmatic details clearly to partners, coupled with a professional, customer-first service approach.
Fluency in both Dutch and English is required.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple internal teams, such as GPO Sales, Channel Operations, and Marketing, to resolve complex partner issues quickly and efficiently.
Experience managing the day-to-day relationship with reseller partners, including process management for deal registration, program compliance, and operational support.
Ability to proactively guide partners to access mandatory and optional sales, technical, and certification training resources, and track partner attainment of key competency and training requirements.
Ability to serve as the first point of contact for partner program inquiries, communicate program details, incentives, and requirements, and resolve operational roadblocks including portal access, login credentials, and CPQ issues.
Experience supporting channel marketing activities, including driving partner engagement and attendance at localized events and programs, and managing follow-up activities to maximize ROI.
Ability to identify friction points in partner processes and contribute to efforts that enhance reseller experience and operational efficiency, including documenting and communicating new processes and best practices.
