Job Description
This role involves leading a strategic sales organization focused on important customers and territories, driving long-term business growth through value-driven sales activities, stakeholder engagement, and team development in a dynamic and innovative tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales and account strategies aligned with business objectives
- Identify growth opportunities based on market trends and customer needs
- Conduct regular forecast reviews and coach sales team members to improve accuracy
- Maintain healthy sales pipeline coverage and deal progression
- Build and evaluate a scalable, sustainable sales organization and culture
- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with executive stakeholders at customers and partners
- Lead executive-level alignment and resolution in strategic or escalated opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as support, marketing, and partners to deliver customer value
Requirements
- 10 or more years of B2B sales experience
- Proven experience leading and managing sales organizations
- Hands-on experience in forecasting and pipeline management
- Experience engaging with executive-level stakeholders at customers and partners
- Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English communication skills
- Ability to develop and execute sales and account strategies aligned with overall business objectives
- Ability to identify sustainable growth opportunities based on market trends and customer needs
- Ability to conduct regular forecast reviews and provide ongoing coaching to Account Executives to improve forecast accuracy and predictability
- Ability to maintain healthy pipeline coverage, deal progression, and overall forecast quality
- Ability to deliver clear, transparent, and accountable reporting to senior management
- Experience in developing, coaching, and evaluating sales professionals to enhance performance and engagement
- Ability to build a scalable and sustainable sales organization and culture
- Ability to establish and maintain trusted relationships with executive-level stakeholders at customers and partners
- Experience leading executive-level alignment and resolution in strategic or escalated opportunities
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams such as SE, Partner, Marketing, and Support to deliver customer value
- Fluent-level English proficiency to actively participate in discussions, articulate viewpoints, and drive alignment with global stakeholders
