Job Description
The role involves leading the development and growth of AI, HPC, and Analytics solutions revenue across North America by managing a team of Solution Architects, collaborating with sales and marketing teams, and driving strategic customer engagement and technical solutions in a high-growth data storage industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow AI, HPC, and Analytics Solutions revenue across North America
- Collaborate with sales and pre-sales leadership to develop and track growth plans
- Engage with pre-sales and sales teams to strategize on opportunities and ensure proper engagement
- Lead, report, and analyze the solution pipeline and forecast from a technical perspective
- Develop customer and partner education initiatives to drive revenue
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders for strategic alignment
- Recruit, lead, and develop a team of Field Solutions Architects to ensure customer success
- Create and refine messaging content for marketing, customer presentations, and internal communication
- Build and maintain a professional network within and outside the company
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and seminars to promote solutions
Requirements
- 15 years of experience in a field pre-sales position, with previous experience leading a team with direct management responsibilities in a large geography
- Experience with AI, Analytics, HPC, and Solutions needed
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other technical degree, or equivalent experience
- Willingness to travel as needed on a regular basis
- Strong ethics and personal integrity, treating people with respect at all times, with a high degree of accountability and ownership
- Ability to interact with customers, partners, and prospects to understand their business challenges and engagement in pre-sales processes
- Ability to understand the big picture, industry trends, and competition
- Effective communication skills to cascade communication and goals throughout teams and build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between pre- and post-sales activities
- Ability to understand and communicate technical issues and/or enhancement requests from customers back to technical support, product management, and R&D
- Ability to analyze employee actions and take notice of shortcomings affecting productivity, and adapt to changes quickly to make necessary adjustments
- Self-starter and highly motivated, able to initiate proposals to improve efficiency, results, and scale of the FSA team, aligning with the goals of the organization
- Active contributor and executive sponsor for larger opportunities within the theater
- Experience participating in regional industry events, organizations, conferences, forums, and seminars as a thought leader
- Ability to promote products and business solutions effectively at industry events
- Ability to develop, improve, and maintain resources to meet and exceed sales goals while supporting sales teams, customers, and partners
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships and alignment across internal teams such as Sales, Marketing, Product, Solutions Management, and external partners
- Experience in developing and refining messaging content for marketing events, customer presentations, and internal communication
- Ability to recognize and reward outstanding behaviors and success within the team, and undertake regular team-building events as appropriate
Benefits & Perks
Annual base salary range of 185,000 to 296,000 USD, determined by role, level, and location
