Job Description
The Associate Market Segment Manager Automotive at Phoenix Contact E-Mobility provides engineering guidance on vehicle programs, manages new project acquisitions, and collaborates with customers and departments to develop specifications, primarily focusing on E-Mobility and automotive production projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering guidance on Inlet vehicle programs
- Lead the acquisition of new projects and clarify customer needs
- Develop specifications in cooperation with customers and specialist departments
- Manage sales and program management activities in the automotive industry
- Work on E-Mobility projects involving charge controllers, communications, programming, and EVSE regulations
- Contribute to automotive production projects related to stamping, body shop, painting, and final assembly
- Work with PLCs and industrial networks in wired and wireless communications
- Utilize IEC 61131 and SCADA systems in project work
Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a related Engineering field.
- At least 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or any related occupation.
- At least 5 years of experience in Sales and Program Management in the automotive industry.
- At least 5 years of experience working on E-Mobility projects involving charge controllers, communications, programming, and EV EVSE Regulations.
- At least 5 years of experience working on Automotive Production projects related to stamping, body shop, painting, and final assembly.
- At least 5 years of experience working with PLCs and Industrial Networks in both wired and wireless communications modalities.
- At least 5 years of experience working with IEC 61131 and SCADA systems.
- Experience working on Inlet vehicle programs and development of specifications in cooperation with customers and specialist departments.
- Ability to provide engineering guidance on Inlet vehicle programs.
- Willingness to travel approximately 35% of the time on domestic and international trips lasting 1-2 weeks in duration.
- Experience may be gained concurrently through a suitable combination of education, training, and experience.
