Job Description

A Business System Analyst is responsible for aligning business needs with technology solutions by gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and designing systems to improve operational efficiency, supporting strategic goals through project management, system configuration, testing, and technical support in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements and processes.
  • Configure and perform updates on software such as Salesforce CRM, ERP, PLM, and WMS.
  • Manage projects related to business process improvements and system updates.
  • Develop and execute system testing, including creating use cases and facilitating user acceptance testing.
  • Provide technical support and develop documentation for business systems and users.
  • Coordinate with external partners, vendors, and internal teams for support, implementation, and maintenance of applications.
  • Ensure system resources and capacity are optimized for efficient operation and high availability.
  • Translate business needs into requirement documents and functional specifications.
  • Assist in resolving Level 2 incidents related to applications and systems support.

Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor s Degree in CIS or BIS and 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, or an associate degree with 7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
  • Experience in integrating and interfacing systems is required.
  • Strong project management skills are required, with the ability to manage projects across technical and functional disciplines and to execute assigned project tasks within an established schedule.
  • Knowledge of relational database systems, including Oracle SQL and PL SQL, is required.
  • Ability to quickly adjust to rapidly changing priorities is required.
  • Persuasive communication skills with the ability to work effectively at all levels in the company are required.
  • Experience in business process modeling and data analysis tools is required.
  • Experience with configuring software such as Salesforce CRM, ERP, PLM, WMS, and related software is required.
  • Experience in performing project management for business process improvement projects is required.
  • Experience in developing and executing system testing, creating use cases, developing and executing test plans, and facilitating user acceptance testing is required.
  • Ability to coordinate and develop user and technical support documentation and provide post-implementation support is required.
  • Experience working with external partners for support and problem resolution is required.
  • Experience working with Infrastructure and Operational Solutions IT-IOS to design, implement, and maintain solutions supporting applications is required.
  • Ability to coordinate efforts to ensure system resources and capacity are available for efficient application operation and high availability is required.
  • Ability to coordinate activities and tasks with vendors and internal project teams, including local and international cross-functional teams, is required.
  • Ability to translate business needs into requirement documents and functional specifications is required.
  • Experience in assisting in the resolution of Level 2 incidents for application and systems support is required.
  • Must have a Bachelor s Degree in CIS or BIS with 5 years of experience, or an associate degree with 7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
  • ITIL foundations certification is preferred.
  • Must be able to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time up to 4 hours.
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time, 2-4 hours at a time.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to travel in vehicles, automobiles, trains, and planes for up to 10 hours.
  • Must be able to travel to foreign countries.
  • Must be on-call 24x7, as required.
  • Must maintain regular and on-time attendance.
