The Vehicle Procurement Manager is responsible for leading strategic procurement activities, negotiating with automotive manufacturers, and managing supply chain relationships to secure the best pricing and terms for electric vehicle leasing, supporting the company's mission to promote zero-emission driving.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with automotive OEMs and internal teams
Negotiate pricing, volume commitments, and commercial terms with manufacturers
Translate market forecasts and insights into procurement strategies
Manage complex contractual negotiations and high-stakes discussions
Oversee the end-to-end procurement process from OEM order to customer delivery
Proactively resolve supply constraints and supply chain issues
Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Procurement teams to ensure supply chain resilience and cost-effectiveness
Requirements
Must have a valid UK driving licence.
Experience in managing direct procurement activities, including translating forecasts and market insights into purchasing strategies.
Proven ability to lead complex negotiations and act as the main point of contact for high-stakes contractual discussions.
Ability to proactively resolve supply constraints and manage relationships across various stakeholders such as Operations, Finance, and internal teams.
Strong commercial acumen with a data-driven approach to procurement and negotiation.
Experience in managing relationships with automotive manufacturers (OEMs) and securing best pricing, volume commitments, and commercial terms.
Ability to build exceptional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a resilient, cost-effective supply chain aligned with company growth targets.
Willingness to work from Weybridge and London offices twice a week and travel occasionally across the UK and globally.
