Job Description
The Senior Value Engineer at Celonis is a trusted advisor responsible for helping customers realize value from the Process Intelligence Platform through strategic assessments, process improvements, and stakeholder engagement, driving business transformation and platform adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate customer objectives into value assessments and proof-of-value projects
- Build business cases and demos leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices
- Conduct value assessments and facilitate business value workshops
- Identify and qualify opportunities for process improvement using Celonis platform
- Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives
- Manage the end-to-end customer value journey including landing, expanding, adoption, and renewal
- Develop strategic expansion roadmaps to embed Celonis Process Intelligence in customer organizations
- Provide feedback to product development teams based on new use cases
Requirements
- 5 years experience in an analytical role with the objective to demonstrate or secure value through business data analysis, business process improvement and respective Software deployment, ideally in a customer-facing role in Solution Consulting, IT Management Consulting with a Business Software SaaS Provider or a Consultancy, or in an Inhouse role e.g. Center of Excellence for Data Mining Analytics Intelligence within an Enterprise.
- Experience in identifying use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures, being a change agent and training users and process owners to realize value.
- Understanding of the Finance and or Supply Chain domain as well as strategic transformation initiatives e.g. Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation.
- Good knowledge of Business Software SaaS applications e.g. SAP, experience with implementing RPA and or BI Tools and or building Dashboards, Apps and Action Flows, and knowledge of Python and or SQL and importantly AI.
- Experience in collaborating with IT teams.
- Experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations and timelines, managing multiple projects across aligned accounts at different parts of the value journey, and leveraging partners from the Celonis Ecosystem wherever possible.
- Experience in preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally, with excellent communication and presentation skills in English and a professional appearance.
- Degree in Technology Management, Industrial Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or a comparable degree program.
- Industry expertise in one or more industries such as Manufacturing, Automotive, Consumer, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, or Chemicals, with the ability to develop a deep understanding of industry trends and strategic opportunities.
