Job Description
The Information Security Lead at Octopus Energy Group is responsible for defining and enhancing the company's security posture, supporting services across the organization, automating GRC processes, and fostering a positive security culture to ensure a secure and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and shape the security strategy and policies at Octopus Energy Group
- Support and improve security across Octopus Energy Group services and subsidiaries
- Automate manual Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) processes
- Build and support a world-class security support service for employees
- Lead organizational change initiatives related to security
- Develop creative security solutions to address business challenges and opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security measures and practices
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Information Security, specifically as a Lead Information Security Analyst or similar role.
- Experience supporting and improving security across an organization, including working with various subsidiaries or business units.
- Ability to define and shape security practices and policies within an organization.
- Experience automating manual Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) processes.
- Proven ability to develop and support a world-class security support service for employees.
- Experience supporting organizational transformational change related to security.
- Strong knowledge of information security principles, practices, and frameworks.
- Ability to develop creative solutions to business challenges related to security.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams such as marketing, operations, and data to improve security services.
- Demonstrated passion for Information Security and driving a positive security culture.
