Job Description
The Senior Manager, Cloud Security, Compliance and Governance is responsible for leading the organization's cloud security posture, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing risk, and overseeing security policies and procedures across cloud environments, primarily focusing on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the organization's security posture, compliance programs, and governance frameworks.
- Ensure regulatory adherence and risk mitigation across cloud environments.
- Partner with infrastructure and application teams to embed security by design.
- Define and enforce security and compliance policies.
- Manage audits, risk assessments, and regulatory reporting.
- Oversee identity and access management (IAM), data protection, and threat monitoring capabilities.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures for effective cloud management in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Lead technical teams through IT changes, project intake, and operational requests.
Requirements
- Robust expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud architecture, Microsoft 365, and the development of processes and procedures for effective cloud management.
- Experience in leading the organization’s security posture, compliance programs, and governance frameworks.
- Ability to ensure regulatory adherence and risk mitigation across diverse cloud environments.
- Partnering with infrastructure and application teams to embed security by design.
- Define and enforce security and compliance policies.
- Manage audits, risk assessments, and regulatory reporting.
- Oversee Identity and Access Management (IAM), data protection, and threat monitoring capabilities.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to lead technical teams through IT changes, project intakes, and operational requests.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud security, compliance, and governance roles.
- Educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (specific degree requirements are not explicitly stated but implied).
