Job Description
The Senior Manager, Cloud Security, Compliance and Governance is responsible for leading the organization's security posture, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing risk, and overseeing cloud security policies and procedures, primarily within Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the organization's security posture, compliance programs, and governance frameworks.
- Ensure regulatory adherence and risk mitigation across cloud environments.
- Partner with infrastructure and application teams to embed security by design.
- Define and enforce security and compliance policies.
- Manage audits, risk assessments, and regulatory reporting.
- Oversee IAM, data protection, and threat monitoring capabilities.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures for effective cloud management in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Lead technical teams through IT changes, project intake, and operational requests.
Requirements
- Robust expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud architecture, Microsoft 365, and the development of processes and procedures for effective cloud management.
- Experience in leading security posture, compliance programs, and governance frameworks within an organization.
- Ability to define and enforce security and compliance policies.
- Experience managing audits, risk assessments, and regulatory reporting.
- Overseeing Identity and Access Management (IAM), data protection, and threat monitoring capabilities.
- Partnering with infrastructure and application teams to embed security by design across diverse cloud environments.
- Strong organizational skills to lead technical teams through IT changes, project intakes, and operational requests.
- Experience ensuring regulatory adherence and risk mitigation in cloud environments.
