Job Description
The role involves leading the engineering team responsible for developing and scaling Affinity's Relationship Intelligence platform, which processes large volumes of data to deliver actionable insights and visualizations that enhance dealmaking for users. It combines technical leadership, hands-on development, and cross-functional collaboration to build a reliable, high-performance SaaS product.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the technical roadmap and oversee the development of the Relationship Intelligence engine.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team responsible for critical applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and deliver scalable platform features and functionalities.
- Ensure the delivery of a reliable, high-quality platform and user experience through iterative development.
- Drive complex technical discussions related to architecture, design, and product features.
- Identify team gaps and implement processes to support team success and scalability.
- Contribute actively to building meaningful features alongside the engineering team.
- Scale the engineering team by hiring and onboarding new engineers.
Requirements
- Have 8 years of experience working in a full-stack software engineering role, building scalable web applications with large volumes of data and rich visualizations.
- Have 3 years in an engineering management role or technical leadership role, providing mentorship and coaching in a formal setting.
- Have experience leading high-performing engineering teams.
- Have experience working with complex SaaS platforms.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Take pride in delivering an exceptionally high-quality product in terms of the functionality provided to consumers, as well as the platform’s overall performance and reliability.
- Be passionate about helping engineers at all levels develop new skills and advance their careers.
- Be excited to work collaboratively within engineering and across functional teams.

Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: 176,000 to 220,000 CAD
