Job Description
The Senior Sales Manager, Americas, is responsible for managing the entire sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation for payload services in the space infrastructure sector, working closely with internal teams and clients across the US and the Americas to support various space missions and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation for payload services.
- Engage with both commercial and institutional customers across the US and the Americas.
- Collaborate with sales engineering, engineering, and product teams to support customer missions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of organizations supporting various space missions.
Requirements
- Support the cradle-to-grave sales process from lead generation through contract negotiation for both physical and virtual payload services across both commercial and institutional customers in the US and the Americas.
- Work closely with the broader sales organization, sales engineering, and stakeholders within the engineering and product organizations.
- Possess a broad grasp and ability to learn about missions with scientific, operational, demonstration, communications, remote sensing objectives, or more, due to the company's involvement in space infrastructure.
- Have experience in or knowledge of the space industry, specifically related to satellite missions, space infrastructure, or related services.
- Be able to support and manage sales activities across a diverse range of organizations and mission objectives.
