Job Description
The role involves leading mechanical engineering efforts for spacecraft design, analysis, and testing, supporting Loft's end-to-end satellite missions and product development. It requires expertise in structural analysis and test to ensure successful mission execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Support all mechanical aspects of Loft missions, including structural analysis and testing
- Serve as a subject matter expert in spacecraft design and analysis within the mission and product team
- Support spacecraft integration, launch, and operation processes
- Collaborate with customers and subcontractors on mechanical requirements and issues
Requirements
- Experience supporting all mechanical aspects of spacecraft missions, including structural analysis and testing.
- Expertise in structural analysis and test related to spacecraft design and development.
- Ability to serve as a subject matter expert within the mission and product team, supporting end-to-end spacecraft missions.
- Proven experience in supporting spacecraft structural design, analysis, and testing processes.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles relevant to spacecraft and satellite development.
- Ability to support mechanical aspects for missions, customers, and subcontractors involved in spacecraft projects.
