Job Description
The Director of Business Development in Germany will lead customer acquisition and strategic partnerships to support Loft's European growth in the space and defense sectors, leveraging industry expertise to shape new space infrastructure models.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive customer acquisition within the German space and defense ecosystem.
- Establish and develop strategic partnerships with government agencies, defense primes, and commercial space players in Germany.
- Shape and promote new space infrastructure models tailored to the German market.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of the German space and defense landscape with experience in driving customer acquisition and strategic partnerships within this ecosystem, including government agencies such as the BND DLR, defense primes, and commercial space players.
- Proven experience in business development, specifically in the space or defense sectors, with the ability to shape new space infrastructure models.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to easily communicate complex ideas and convey important messages effectively.
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of significant challenges in a fast-paced, high-impact role.
- Problem-solving skills with a supportive and team-oriented approach to collaboration.
