Job Description
The Director of Business Development in Germany will lead customer acquisition and strategic partnerships within the German space and defense sectors, supporting Loft's European growth and development of new space infrastructure models.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive customer acquisition within the German space and defense ecosystem.
- Establish and develop strategic partnerships with government agencies, defense primes, and commercial space players in Germany.
- Leverage understanding of the German space and defense landscape to shape new space infrastructure models.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of the German space and defense landscape, including government agencies such as the BND and DLR, defense primes, and commercial space players.
- Experience in driving customer acquisition and strategic partnerships within the German ecosystem.
- Proven experience in business development, specifically in the space and defense sectors.
- Ability to shape new space infrastructure models.
- Experience in working with government agencies, defense primes, and commercial space companies in Germany.
- Strong understanding of the German space and defense industry landscape.
- Ability to operate in a high-impact role requiring leadership in business development.
- Fluency in English; ability to communicate effectively with international teams and stakeholders.
