Job Description
The Data Analyst at LevelTen Energy is responsible for translating complex renewable energy datasets into clear visualizations, reports, and dashboards to support decision-making for internal teams and customers, with a focus on data quality, product development, and industry understanding.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data visualization products using BI tools to serve internal and external customers
- Gather customer requirements and define product scope to ensure high engagement with data products
- Transition legacy data products from tools like Tableau to the Omni platform
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and proper organization of all data products
- Develop a deep understanding of the renewable energy industry and wholesale electricity markets to inform data analysis and visualization
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience building data visualizations using complex datasets that require extensive curation and modeling.
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python, Tableau, dbt, and version control tools.
- Demonstrated history of being a customer-focused team player who is able to own data deliverables throughout the entirety of the product cycle from data curation through creation of effective data visualizations.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without a current or future need for visa sponsorship.
