Job Description
The Senior Strategic Finance Analyst at LevelTen Energy is responsible for developing financial models and frameworks from scratch, translating complex financial data into actionable insights, and supporting strategic decision-making across product, sales, and organizational initiatives within the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop financial models and frameworks from scratch to evaluate new products, initiatives, and investments.
- Build and analyze cost architecture and lifecycle economics for new investments and initiatives.
- Partner with Sales to define and maintain SaaS metrics, and develop analytics to understand customer behavior and segment profitability.
- Translate complex financial data into accessible insights for non-finance stakeholders and support strategic decision-making.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis to guide resource allocation and strategic planning.
- Create product costing models, including CAC and CRC, to assess segment profitability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in FP A, Strategic Finance, or Finance Operations, with emphasis on B2B SaaS.
- Demonstrated experience building financial models and frameworks from scratch, not just maintaining existing ones.
- Expert-level proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Deep experience with Salesforce reporting and SaaS-specific financial tools such as Prophix.
- Ability to operate comfortably in ambiguity and define structure where none previously existed.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without a current or future need for visa sponsorship.
