Job Description

The Platform Sales Associate at LevelTen Energy is responsible for qualifying inbound inquiries, conducting discovery calls, managing customer relationships, and delivering tailored platform demonstrations to drive subscription sales within the renewable energy sector, supporting the company's mission to accelerate the energy transition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and qualify inbound inquiries through discovery calls to assess prospects' energy portfolios and needs
  • Maintain meticulous data hygiene in Salesforce to ensure real-time pipeline visibility
  • Identify target customers and execute personalized outreach campaigns to generate interest in the platform
  • Conduct research and assist in creating strategic account plans to accelerate the sales cycle
  • Build and deliver tailored platform demonstrations addressing customer challenges and objectives
  • Discover customer needs and position platform solutions or insights to demonstrate immediate value

Requirements

  • Manage and qualify all inbound inquiries by conducting deep-dive discovery calls to assess a prospect's energy portfolio, sustainability needs, and technical readiness.
  • Leverage Salesforce as the daily command center, ensuring meticulous data hygiene to provide the leadership team with real-time pipeline visibility and better decision-making power.
  • Partner with the Senior Seller for Utilities and Renewable Energy Developers to identify Ideal Customer Profiles and execute personalized, multi-channel outreach campaigns that spark interest in the platform.
  • Conduct deep-dive research and assist in the creation of strategic account plans, coordinating between the prospect’s requirements and the platform’s capabilities to accelerate the sales cycle.
  • Build and deliver custom platform walkthroughs that address the core challenges and objectives uniquely identified for each customer.
  • Discover the customer’s business needs and position the best LevelTen solutions or compelling insights such as regional pricing trends or PPA insights that demonstrate immediate platform value to sophisticated energy stakeholders.
  • Travel periodically as required for the role.
  • Possess 2 to 4 years of professional experience, ideally in sales within a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment or the energy sector.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, Engineering, or Environmental Science.
  • Be comfortable managing leads, accounts, and reporting with extreme attention to detail using Salesforce.
  • Demonstrate exemplary problem-solving skills and resourcefulness in taking initiative.
  • Exhibit superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Possess solid oral, written, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Have a competitive spirit and drive for results.
  • Be coachable and thrive in the ever-changing energy landscape.
  • Be fluent in English.
  • Fluency in other European languages is a significant plus.
