Job Description
Support the development and scaling of LevelTen Energy's transactable renewable energy products by working closely with cross-functional teams to define data and product requirements, validate analytics, and enhance buyer-facing tools in a collaborative, data-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the definition and evolution of transactable products such as Power Purchase Agreements and capacity contracts.
- Partner with Commercial and Analytics teams to understand buyer and seller decision-making and translate needs into product and data requirements.
- Define, document, and validate data to support analytics, pricing insights, and buyer decision-making.
- Ensure analytical models, pipelines, and outputs operate effectively with defined data inputs.
- Develop and iterate on buyer-facing and internal data visualizations, dashboards, and summaries.
- Write clear product requirements, data definitions, and documentation for analytics and engineering teams.
- Assist with testing, validation, and iteration of product features pre- and post-release, focusing on data accuracy.
- Communicate product updates and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in product management, data analysis, analytics, consulting, or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with structured datasets, with keen attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of SQL or similar query languages, with experience using queries to explore, validate, and troubleshoot structured datasets.
- Ability to translate customer and business needs into clear, actionable product and data documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Product, Commercial, and Analytics partners.
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort operating in ambiguous problem spaces.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience supporting the definition, validation, and scaling of transactable products such as Power Purchase Agreements, capacity contracts, and related offerings.
- Experience defining, documenting, and validating data required to support analytics, pricing insights, and buyer decision-making.
- Experience working with analytics models, pipelines, and analytical outputs to ensure effective operation on defined data inputs.
- Experience assisting with testing, validation, and iteration of product features before and after release, with a focus on data correctness.
- Ability to write clear product requirements, data definitions, and documentation to support downstream analytics and engineering work.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence (preferred but not mandatory).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without a current or future need for visa sponsorship.
