Job Description
A full-cycle Operations Recruiter responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring Class 3-7 commercial vehicle drivers to support Gatik's autonomous fleet operations, ensuring compliance and collaborating with internal teams and vendors in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for Autonomous Vehicle Operators (AVOs), including sourcing, screening, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with Fleet Operations and external vendors to meet hiring goals and timelines.
- Pre-screen candidates for compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations.
- Coordinate candidate interviews, background checks, drug screens, DOT physicals, and other evaluations.
- Promote Gatik's AVO program to potential candidates through outreach and relationship building.
- Track and process candidates using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Support onboarding of contract hires and manage logistics for orientation and road tests.
- Analyze recruitment data to optimize hiring processes.
- Leverage sourcing techniques to attract top-tier candidates.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, promoting Gatik’s mission, values, and culture.
Requirements
- Three years of experience in high-volume recruiting, ideally within transportation, logistics, or fleet operations.
- Strong understanding of DOT and FMCSA compliance requirements.
- Proven success managing multiple requisitions and meeting aggressive hiring targets.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative, relationship-first approach.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership.
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems such as Greenhouse, Lever, or similar.
- Prior experience supporting both direct and contract hiring is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent practical experience.

Compensation/salary range: $40/hr - $65/hr
