Job Description
The Support Engineer, Shared Services, with a focus on Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of digital banking systems by collaborating with support, development, operations, and infrastructure teams to implement best practices and enhance system efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of digital banking production systems.
- Collaborate with customer support, development, operations, and infrastructure teams to maintain and improve services.
- Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 88,000 USD annual salary for entry-level qualifications or up to 100,000 USD for highly experienced candidates, depending on qualifications and prior experience.
- Work primarily conducted in an office setting, with certain positions possibly allowing remote work through technology at management discretion.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time while performing duties.
- Use hands and fingers to operate a computer monitor with visual acuity.
- Operate technology or other office machinery such as printers and scanners.
- Communicate clearly, either verbally or in writing, with others.
- Perform duties of the job as described, which include maintaining and enhancing digital banking production systems, ensuring system reliability, availability, and performance, and working closely with customer support, development, operations, and infrastructure teams.
- Employ Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices to drive system reliability and efficiency.
- Exhibit a high level of flexibility to perform situationally assigned duties outside of the standard job description as needed.
